Position is responsible for the execution of EPC Projects or Turnaround Projects. Manage all office and field personnel included in contract. Chair all applicable meetings and report to client. Provide condition status to client and advise of any corrective measures needed and participate in the implementation. Keep home office informed of and involved in daily progress and contract compliance.
Typical Duties:
Procure and set up all field facilities necessary for operation
Establish reporting requirements of subordinate personnel.

Position is responsible for compiling job cost estimates, preliminary turnaround and/or project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting; and financial reporting.

Position is responsible for the daily coordination and execution of turnaround activity in assigned area of facility. Interface with client, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution and a successful turnaround. Candidates must have knowledge of industry safety and project execution processes and procedures.

Position is responsible for the coordination of materials receiving, expediting and processing of materials required for a Turnaround or project
Typical Duties:
Execute material management procedures.
Have a thorough knowledge of the work plan and schedule against material needs
Ensure correct staging of all material assigned to project.
Establish the materials plan inspection, expediting, receiving, staging and issuing of turnaround or project materials
Execute plan with Vendors and Suppliers to return unused materials and goods to a pre-defined location and then inventoried.

Position is responsible for maintaining the standards of quality control on projects and insuring all work is in accordance with all applicable codes, recommended practices, jurisdictional requirements, good engineering practices and client specifications and procedures. Inspector is certified to Level II in general NDE disciplines (i.e. UT thickness, PT, MT, RT interpretation), holds a CWI certification or comparable certification.
Typical Duties:
Maintaining all applicable project inspection/quality control documentation for onsite project work.
Develop and/or approve PQR’s and WPS’s.
Conduct and/or witness welder testing for projects.
Develops and maintains appropriate traveler documentation on specific projects.

Health Insurance (Humana) – New, Current, & Terminating Employees: Rates and details are available in the insurance package you receive with your contract. We offer a choice of 3 plans for our employees to choose from, and split the base level plan employee (50/50) with the employee. Families can be added at the employee’s discretion. We also have available TASC – is an HRA that fishbone provides to the employee to offset a portion of the employees deductible under the insurance options. When TASC is applicable, Fishbone covers the portion allotted on an 80/20 split with the employee. On the base program, this helps employees cover any routine medical expenses.

  • New hires- have a 60 day waiting period before they are eligible for health insurance. Once the 60 day are up they may apply and it will be active the 1st of the following month.
  • If a new hire decides not to accept the insurance at that time a signed declination is needed. Its section 10 of the Humana enrollment form.
  • Current employees – if you decide to enroll in the health insurance and did not enroll during your 1st 60 days you will not be eligible until the Open Enrollment Period.
  • Terminating Employees – You will be sent a letter informing them that they can continue your insurance through COBRA. If you choose to not continue your insurance you will be taken off of the policy before the 1st of the following month.
  • One open enrollment per year – September 1st so the month of August will be the open enrollment period for employees. Prior to open enrollment a letter or email will be sent out to inform the employees of this option along with firm deadlines for getting applications in to process.

401K Retirement Account
One of the best benefits Fishbone offers their employees is our 401K. Fishbone’s 401K is through the Hartford, with our financial advisor coming from Baird and associates. Our financial advisor keeps close watch on the variety of funds available through our plan, and is accessible for advice to our employees.
The plan we offer is called a Safe Harbor Plan. A Safe Harbor Plan has a couple of very important implications for participants. The first implication is that the company participation (matching) is guaranteed and immediate. Other types of plans have discretionary matching, where the company decides whether and how much to match. The other implication involves vesting or ownership of the money matched. Oftentimes vesting will occur over a multi-year period, but with a Safe Harbor plan, vesting is immediate. As soon as the deposit is made, the matching money belongs to the employee.
Details of the standard administration of the plan are listed below.

  • Two enrollments per year they are the months of January and July. A letter will be sent out to the eligible employees prior to these periods to inform them of the open enrollment and deadlines of when to have the paperwork back in.
    To enroll in 401K the employee will receive an enrollment book. Once you have made your selections on your distribution choices you will need to get that form to the Human Resources Department. We will need the enrollment form(signed) and the beneficiary form returned to the Fishbone Office so that we may send your information into Hartford and to keep in your personnel file in our office.
  • New hires have a 9 month waiting period before they are eligible for this benefit. Once they have completed their nine months with Fishbone they may enroll during the next open enrollment.
  • Hartfordlife is where we have our 401k plan. It is deducted at each bi-weekly payday.
  • Terminating employees may rollover their 401k to a new plan. You will need to contact the Human Resources Department for the necessary form.
  • Fishbone Solutions LTD contributes 5% to an employees 401-K. For the employee to receive the companies 5% contribution they must contribute on their part of 5%. The company matches dollar for dollar the first 3% and .50 on the dollar for the 2nd 2%. If the employee saves 5% of their pay into the 401K plan, this amounts to an immediate 80% return on their investment.

Aflac: We offer a variety of insurance packages through AFLAC, that are purely employee discretionary. These include – Short Term Disability, Cancer/Specified Disease, Accident, among others.

  • All employees are eligible immediately.
  • Employees may enroll at the 1st of each month.
  • This is a voluntary plan and Fishbone does not pay any portion of the premium.
  • The original enrollment forms need to go to Debbie, but we keep a copy of them in the employees file.
  • The deduction for the premium is calculated for a bi weekly deduction. The total deduction is give to Fishbone Solutions LTD by the AFLAC Representative.

Eligibility and Accrual
After you have been actively employed by the company for at least six (6) months, you will start accruing vacation hours at 1.53 hours a week per 40 hours worked. Year two through 4 accrues at the same rate for a total of 80 hours per year. Vacation accrual for the fifth year accrues at 2.31 for 120 vacation hours. Management reserves the right to make adjustments or altercations as necessary.

HOLIDAY PAY

Fishbone Provides all employees with 4 standard paid holidays/year. All holidays are paid based on straight time rates and a standard 8 hour work day. Holidays do not count toward overtime. Standard Holidays are

Electronic Payroll
Payroll is paid biweekly and is strictly done via ACH (direct deposited) into the employees account. Pay weeks cycle from Monday through Sunday, and net pay is deposited by the following Friday directly into the employee’s checking account. Mandated withholdings, payments, or pre-tax insurance payments are made electronically through our payroll system. Payroll receipts are sent electronically to employees on Wednesdays prior to payroll initiation to give employees an opportunity to review their paycheck before payroll is run, giving them a chance to confirm accuracy for that week’s payroll.

COMPANY EVENTS
Fishbone provides opportunities to network and spend time with other employees on a pretty regular basis. Several times a year, the company has large company functions that all employees are encouraged to attend. The annual Christmas party occurs in December, and all employees are invited to attend with their spouse or date. Fishbone is also a sponsor for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Barbeque Cookoff annually, where we give out passes to our sponsored tent.
